This week, the weather in the Kanto area really doesn’t look nice at all. Fortunately, this wasn’t the case this past Saturday when I and my wife took the advantage of a truly lovely weather and took a trip to Kamakura, in the Kanagawa prefecture.

This week, the weather in the Kanto area really doesn’t look nice at all – it’s rainy, windy and to top it all off, the typhoon is coming. Fortunately, this wasn’t the case this past Saturday when I and my wife took the advantage of a truly lovely weather and took a trip to Kamakura, in the Kanagawa prefecture. I hope you’ll enjoy this occasionally commented gallery!

(Caption) As you can see, we were almost the only people who had the idea of making this trip.

(Caption) By employing forbidden magic, I managed to take one photo without any people, yey! 🎉

(Caption) Last look at the shrine’s absolutely massive gate before leaving and heading in the direction of 鎌倉大仏 (Great Buddha of Kamakura).

(Caption) But before we get to see Buddha’s statue, we’re welcomed by 仁王門 (Nioo-mon Gate).
